‘Final Exam’ poster features Iran mega star Shahab Hosseini

Iranian film ‘Final Exam’ releases a poster showcasing Iran mega star Shahab Hosseini before public screening in the country’s movie theaters.

The film narrates the story of a math tutor who is involved in a romantic relation.

A noticeable point of the film is late-great Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami wrote the screenplay for the flick.

‘Final Exam’ will come out in Iranian movie theaters in the upcoming days in April.

Produced by Mostafa Shayesteh, the film has Shahab Hosseini and Leila Zare as the male and female leads, respectively.

The big names such as auteur Kiarostami as well as Hosseini who starred in Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar-winning movies ‘A Separation’ and ‘The Salesman’ can guarantee a box-office success for the film, a media report quoted an official with the film’s distributor as saying.

Abbas Kiarostami, who has died in July 2016, was an Iranian film director, whose ‘Taste of Cherry’ grabbed the Palme d’Or at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.

Several prestigious festivals and film events have already honored the noted Iranian director as well as paying homage to Kiarostami by organizing retrospectives of his works.
